Terms of Service

Last updated September 17, 2026

These terms cover your use of Tindahan POS, provided by Dell's Software ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. This is written to reflect what the product actually does today, not boilerplate — if something here doesn't match your experience of the product, please tell us.

The service

Tindahan POS is a point-of-sale and store-management application: sales, inventory, customer/utang tracking, staff accounts, a record of the e-load and e-wallet services you provide, and reporting, built for small Filipino retailers. It runs in your browser on a laptop or tablet you already own, and as a phone app. The same account also signs you in to Dell's Software Accounting and Inventory, and these terms cover those apps too. The app does not itself connect to any e-load, e-wallet or payment provider.

Your account

  • You're responsible for keeping your login credentials, and any staff PINs you issue, confidential.
  • You're responsible for the accuracy of the business data you enter — products, prices, sales, and customer records.
  • If you're the only admin on a store, deleting your own account closes the whole store, so the request is reviewed by our team before it takes effect.

Acceptable use

Don't use Tindahan POS to:

  • Break any applicable law, including tax and consumer-protection law.
  • Attempt to access another store's data, or circumvent the app's access controls.
  • Interfere with the service's operation or attempt to overload it.

Pricing and billing

Current pricing is shown on our pricing page and is indicative pending launch — we'll tell you before any change affects your account. Higher tiers (Growth and above) are currently arranged directly with us rather than through an automated checkout; we'll always confirm price and terms with you before billing starts.

Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from any of the apps (if you are your store's only admin, that closes the store and is reviewed first). We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.

Disclaimers

Tindahan POS is provided "as is." We work to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. You're responsible for your own business decisions, including pricing, credit (utang) extended to customers, and tax compliance — the app is a tool to help you track these, not a substitute for your own judgment or professional advice.

Who owns what

The software — its source code, design, workflows and documentation — is proprietary to Dell's Software. Using the service does not transfer any of it to you, and it may not be copied, resold or reverse-engineered.

Your business data stays yours. Products, sales, customers, staff records and reports belong to your store. We process them to run the service for you, never sell them, and do not use them to build anything for anyone else. You can export them at any time from Settings → Backup — sales and products as spreadsheets, and everything including customers as a backup file — and that remains true while your account is active.

If the service ends

Export your records before you close an account: once an account-deletion request is completed, we cannot recover what it removed. If we ever discontinue the service, we will give you notice and a period in which to export your data.

Your own record-keeping obligations are yours to meet. Philippine tax rules require businesses to keep books and receipts for a number of years, and an export from this app is not by itself a substitute for whatever the BIR requires of your store.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do; continued use after a change means you accept the update.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
